Play-off rivals Dover and Braintree played out a goalless draw at Crabble in Blue Square South on Saturday.

Dover had more of the possession in the opening 45 minutes but their attacks kept breaking down and neither keeper was really troubled.

The second half started in a similar fashion, before both sides had chances in a lively finale.

Whites keeper Scott Flitney pulled off a superb save to deny George Purcell and keep his side in the game.

At the other end Luis Cumbers (pictured) went close to putting Whites in front with a header, before Flitney was again called upon to keep out a long range effort from Robbie Martin.
