Midweek Ryman League round-up

Ashford Town were blown-away by a four-goal
first-half blitz at home to Fleet Town in Ryman League Division 1
South on Wednesday night.
Infront of just 90 fans at Homelands, Andy Sinton's side
produced a fine display and Daniel Read cracked a hat-trick to put
them 3-0 ahead inside half an hour and Tyron Smith added the fourth
shortly before the break.
Despite having Nick Smith sent-off six minutes after the break
for a crude lunge, The Nuts and Bolts battled back and Joe Fuller
netted a consolation 11-minutes from time, latching onto a long
ball forward, outstripping the defence, rounding the keeper and
slotting home.
Runaway Ryman League Premier Division leaders
Dartford suffered just their second defeat of the
season with a 1-0 reverse at Billericay on Tuesday night.
Tony Burman's side conceded shortly after the start of the
second-half and despite Lee Noble firing just wide in added-time,
they could not find a leveller.
The defeat ended their perfect away record of nine wins in as
many games this season and was also just the second time the Darts
have failed to score in the league this campaign.
The Darts remain 10-points clear of second-placed Kingstonian
with two games in hand.
Ryman League Division 1 South leaders
Folkestone also suffered their second defeat of
the season when they lost 1-0 at promotion rivals Croydon
Athletic.
The hosts played half an hour with 10-men and had six players
booked, but stole the poitns 15 minutes from time with a goal from
a corner.
Neil Cugley's side are eight points clear of Croydon, who moved
into second, having played the same number of games.
Chatham slumped to a 2-1 defeat at Burgess Hill
in on Tuesday night.
The Chats slipped to eighth in the table after being
leap-frogged by their West Sussex opponents.
Sittingbourne's Division 1 South game at
Whyeleafe was postponed as was Maidstone United's
Ryman League Cup third round tie against Tilbury at Homelands which
