Police accident stock

MOTORISTS are being warned to expect delays following a collision which left a man with head and spinal injuries.

The two-car crash happened at around 2.40pm today (Sunday) on the A2 London-bound near the Bean Interchange.

One car, which contained two people, flipped over a number of times, while a second contained two adults and two children who were left badly shocked.

A spokesman for Dartford Fire Station said: “One person in the first car was fine but the other was quite badly injured. He had been helped out of the car by a passer-by by the time we got there.

“He had head injuries and suspected spine injuries.”

Three lanes have been closed and all traffic is being diverted off at the Bean Interchange.
