Pictures: Parts of Kent hit by flooding

Picture Gallery

Parts of the county were lashed by torrential rain over the weekend, leading to flooding in several areas.

Problems were reported in Maidstone, Aylesford, Yalding, Hadlow, Harrietsham, Birling, Minster, Wye and Canterbury, with some residents in villages finding themselves cut off.

The A28 between Ashford and Canterbury was closed on Sunday afternoon.

Above is a selection of pictures from around Kent. Send your snaps to kentonlinenews@thekmgroup.co.uk and we'll add them to the gallery.

We're also keen to hear your stories so let us know via the comments section below.
